Part Time Studios & McJAWN Presents: Small Jawns

I'm very happy to be in this show with a great group of local Philly Artists.

In celebration of Part Time Studios’ one year anniversary, they’re having a small-works group art show of local Philly artists. Part Time Studios is located at 2031 Frankford Ave in Fishtown. The exhibit runs from December 3rd to January 2nd. The opening reception is on First Friday, December 3rd at 6PM. Part Time Studios is open 11AM to 3PM from Tuesday to Saturday.

McJAWN and Hipster City Cycle are helping Part Time Studios celebrate its one year anniversary with Small Jawns, a First Friday small-works group art show of local Philly artists. All art is priced under $150, just in time for holidays. Since its opening, Part Time Studios has made an impact in the local creative community by inspiring and supporting a generation of new artists. As a young art collective, Part Time Studios houses prominent artists such as Kyle Fisher, Seth Shimkonis, Adam Smith, Steven Speir, Megan Swansen, Hilary White, Amanda Rombach, and Alex Winthrop.

Small Jawns promises to be an evening of fun, conversation and interactivity. Hipster City Cycle announced that guest attending the event will be the first to try the iPhone App game before it hits the App store in early 2011; additionally, those who choose to have their photo taken as an 8-bit character may also be entered into the Pixelation contest for a chance to be an actual character in the game. McJAWN, a Philly art & culture magazine, will have art zines available on site for those to enjoy. And Vitamin Water will have a free hydration bar, paired along with snacks from Tony Luke’s and Pirate’s Booty.

Some of the artists participating in the show are: Ally Crow, Kyle Fisher, JP Flexner, Bradford Haubrich, Shawn Hileman, Jeremy Hush, Kristen Jasionowski, Joseph Kolasinski, Annette Laszczkowska, Dietrich Meyer, Paul Romano, Seth Shimkonis, Hedy Sirico, Adam Smith, Steven Speir, Steven Streisguth, Lydia Trott, Linnea Vegh, Jake Watling, Hilary White, Bradford Woodworking
